Hi. I wonder if it is possible to say to layers to behave as parallel in nodes with some other apps. What i'm after is that i could manipulate layers but without affecting the other ones. Why i seek this is if you can have parallel and do adjustments like this you do not alter other layers with keys and such. Maybe there is another logic to it but i just started to wonder. Thanks.

I have latest Premiere and dnxhd work out of the box imo. Dnxhr needs some pref tweaking i have read but i have not looked in to it much yet as i edit in Resolve now.

It seems that i have had this with other monitors as well like it is an issue with win or network etc. If i do smaller batches like 4000 it tends to work more it goes nuts.

Imo it works like in Premiere or in FCP.

I'm looking at formats and do not see any support for DNG files in BL 5. Am i missing something?

Hi. I just finished my new reel from the jobs i have done. My previous one was done 3-4 years ago so it felt like new one is in order. Tried to keep it variable in content. Reel edited and graded in Resolve.

Depends what you mean hardware based. I use now Scope Box in my mac mini and i'm really happy about it. Two main things: o Can use large displays 24" or more and can scale all things as i need o HML tool i.e. white point separately for lift, gamma, gain.

So in a way your trust is just psychological and not based on any testing? I would say slap probe on to your monitor and be confident.

In a way it seems rather messy on that price range. No wonder people do not use them as much as FSI.

They are very similar just gamma is bit different imo 2,4 vs 2,2.

They say i will write Prores on win which Resolve did not do now. Maybe it will change in the future?

Hi. I did grading for short film called "Early Spring" It plays around youngsters fighting their boredom and insecurity and some maybe killing one of them. Here i have some screenshots of it for you to see. I left the suspense part out of the stills as i do not give away all the things in film as it is still in festivals. Director's: Rain Tolk, Gustaf Boman Bränngård DOP: Madis Reimund Colorist: Margus Voll, C.S.I. It was shot on Arri Amira with vintage EKRAN Lenses. All was graded in Resolve V14 Beta 4 with ACEScc colorspace. Delivery in 2k Scope DCP. For me the most interesting bit was how director approached colors: "Just take the story and make it what you feel the story is to you" Later we just did some very microscoping adjustments of few shots and all was done.
