Thomas Singh November 5, 2020 Share November 5, 2020 How to remove empty space on the timeline in DaVinci Resolve? I have more than two hours of blank space after the last clip on the timeline that I want to remove, and I have tried to set in+out point and delete it but it doesn't work. Bruno Mansi November 5, 2020 Share November 5, 2020 Isn't it ripple delete? So, mark area, right click and select Ripple Delete.

When u use the backspace to delete it deletes only the clio, but delete deletes both the clip and space.
Ugo November 8, 2020 Share November 8, 2020 Maybe the last clip isn't the last one, there could be a chunk of something two hours after what you consider to be the last clip. Try to go to the end of that apparently empty space and zoom in all the way: you could find a single frame of garbage right there (it happens to me a few month ago). Thomas Singh November 10, 2020 Author Share November 10, 2020 (edited) Thanks guys! It looks like this is addressed in DaVinci Resolve 17 as they have included a new function called "remove gaps". Edited November 10, 2020 by Thomas Singh
