    The Eizo CG2420 isn't good enough for the list? It's a 10bits, HD monitor and cost a little more than a grand. I own one of them and tested with an old and much more expensive Sony BVM-F250A and frankly itìs not so bad.

    Maybe the last clip isn't the last one, there could be a chunk of something two hours after what you consider to be the last clip. Try to go to the end of that apparently empty space and zoom in all the way: you could find a single frame of garbage right there (it happens to me a few month ago).
