Margus Voll April 19, 2017 Share April 19, 2017 I read on another thread @Marc Wielage pointed out that something is happening. We will see and read more when he gets to the battle ground. Also Paul Saccone from BM stated this "I can't say much, other than it's gonna be HUGE!" So if you are Resolve user you will have some sleepless nights ahead like with any other NAB.
Rakesh Malik April 20, 2017 Share April 20, 2017 And perfect timing too, since I have a couple of films to color grade soon and I'm also going to get a 1080Ti add to my computer shortly.
Bruno Mansi April 21, 2017 Share April 21, 2017 I would be wary about using a brand new version of software on a paid project before testing it out fully! I would also recommend backing up your databases and/or projects before installing V14. I usually wait for at least a one point revision before trying out a new version of software, unless there's some 'must-have' feature I need immediately.
Dylan R. Hopkin April 21, 2017 Share April 21, 2017 I hope that the HUGE improvements are mostly colour / grading features. My wish list also includes a number of bugfixes for issues that frequently surface. All of which have been around for a while. (Disappearing power window outline / eyedroper tool, copy / paste of tracking data between power windows frequently crashes Resolve, auto save stops in the middle of saving and freezes Resolve, Resolve FX Glow sometimes strobes). With all that said, the Resolve team do a great job. It's a great grading tool. Really looking forward to see what R14 offers 🤓⚡👈🏻!
