Omar Robles December 12, 2019 Share December 12, 2019 Hello group: So I am trying to install PAUL DORE "THE BALD AVENGER" OFX plugs for davinci resolve. Unfortunately I am having the problem of not being able to locate the OFX folder on my computer in order to drop the plug inns into. My graphic card is Radeon Pro 580 8 GB if that has anything to do with it. What am i doing wrong?
Mazze December 12, 2019 Share December 12, 2019 (edited) Possibly it's not yet created, as you haven't installed any other OFX plugins yet? The usual folder is /Library/OFX/Plugins/ on OSX. On Windows it's C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins. Yyou can just create that folder structure yourself, though. Mazze December 12, 2019 Share December 12, 2019 Did you drop in the plugin .bundles? Maybe send a screenshot from that folder.
Omar Robles December 12, 2019 Author Share December 12, 2019 Did it drop it on the right place?
Mazze December 13, 2019 Share December 13, 2019 Try putting the ofx.bundle files directly into the plugins folder, without the ACES folder inbetween.
Omar Robles December 13, 2019 Author Share December 13, 2019 I have tried them all individually. I don’t know what’s going on I wonder if it’s my operating system Mojave
Mazze December 13, 2019 Share December 13, 2019 I am not sure if they require CUDA to work. That would be for Paul to tell.

Marco Paba December 13, 2019 Share December 13, 2019 YES. I use two Nvidia: M4000, GTX1080ti [10.13.6 (17G10021)].
Omar Robles December 13, 2019 Author Share December 13, 2019 This sucks I am wondering why I am having issues. It seems so simple
Mazze December 13, 2019 Share December 13, 2019 Again, I think it's a matter of CUDA support. If you're on AMD, or Mojave - there is no CUDA for you and hence the plugins might not work. Don't know wether there's an OpenCL or Metal equivalent there.
Marco Paba December 13, 2019 Share December 13, 2019 Can you try with these two OFX? Select the right version.

Marco Paba December 13, 2019 Share December 13, 2019 OMG. Please unzip the file and copy only one version in the OFX folder. HueConverge_macOS_DR16_OPENCL_METAL for iMac 5k Retina.

Omar Robles December 13, 2019 Author Share December 13, 2019 UPDATE: I got two of them to work Frequency and Hue however they ones I am dying to try are still being elusive Filmgrade and Softclip. My guess is Paul hasn’t done one compatible for metal yet.
