Nicolas Hanson September 11, 2016 Share September 11, 2016 Ultimatte can't best Keylight. Hopefully the acquisition changes that. My guess is that the don't want their product as is, but the knowledge to develop a new keyer for Fusion.
Bruno Mansi September 11, 2016 Share September 11, 2016 (edited) I don't think you can really compare Ultimatte and Keylight because they really specialise in hardware keyers for news and live events. I'm guessing Balckmagic's acquisition is more like they did with Teranex, with a new line of Blackmagic hardware blue/greenscreen products. Nicolas Hanson September 11, 2016 Share September 11, 2016 You are right, I just have the Ultimatte keyer in After Effects back in the days. Keylight was the only keyer that could get the job done.
