  1. Through Media Management would be best way to go about. Use Copy option
  2. You can add it on Edit page as a video track layer, that way you have more control.
  3. Thanks Bruno, I actually came across that forum too and that's where it started becoming a thing of the past for the Z840, again starting to source specific parts seems a little too much and also we were thinking of added 2 x RTX3080 to the workstation and Z840 PC we have are little limited for space for the second card. So new PC looks like the way.
  4. Thanks Craig, we are actually going to spec a complete new system instead because it looks like too much headache trying to source specific parts for the current Z840 we have. The website you suggested is very interesting.
  5. Hi All I am trying to decide what to get for my Workstation HP Z840, specifically to work with 4K VFX/GFX on Fusion Page. I have been advised that RTX3080 is not compatible with HP Z840 PC and that I should instead use Quadro RTX 5000 Is GTX2080 compatible with HP Z840 and better use then RTX 5000 Appreciate any advice and thanks in advance Az
  6. You should probably look into stacked timelines. Resolve doesn't have an option to display source windows as timeline.
  7. As for this you can use the In+Out to paste less clips then you have copied. AvidDS has a good way of use to do this and I mentioned to the Resolve developer couple of years ago but they haven't really implemented something as good as AvidDS
  8. Yes, you need to disable Video Track V1 Icon that has ''greater than or less than'' see photo attached
  9. Select the Video and Audio clips you want to link on the Timeline once selected hold down Control+Alt and press L to link and unlink the selected clips
  10. If you mark In+Out on the Timeline then hit Control+C that will copy the In+Out and then go to a time later on the Timeline hit Control+V that should paste all the clip in-between the In+Out. Also you can select any clip or multiple clips on the timeline and paste at different part of the timeline to be re-used
  11. One reason could be because some of the nodes from Colour Page are not caching due to OFX plugins that have been applied to those nodes. Other reason I have had issues with OFX plug-ins applied directly to the clip on Timeline don't cache at all especially the Sapphire OFX and for this I usually trick the Timeline by adding a Solid Color from Generators which will then force Resolve to cache those clips. One more thing I would do is to select all clip on the Timeline then right click and enable Render Cache Color Output, obviously this will cache the entire Timeline.
  12. That's correct he uses Lift/Gamma/Gain to get the exposure that he desires
  13. Can you explain a little bit more what you are trying to do?
  14. Depending on what version of Resolve you are, DR16.2.1 has an option to Embed in AAF. This would embed the video too, so when you export you must have the video enabled otherwise you won't get the Embedded in AAF option. This will create Audio AAF and Video MXF
  15. The answer is no. Subs in Resolve are very basic and I would continue using Avid's Subs till BMD updates the tool.
  16. Hello Everyone, Just wondering if anybody is using this Monitor and would love to get your thoughts, whether its worth the money in comparison with FSI DM24 and DM250. https://www.oseedirect.com/LCM240-E-p/lcm240-e.htm Thanks Az
