Tom Evans May 3, 2018 Share May 3, 2018 I need to do a simple chrome key on a green screen backgroun to visualize how the final image will look like when doing the grade. How do I do that in Davinci Resolve?
Chris DiBerardino May 3, 2018 Share May 3, 2018 If you right click in the node window, you can add an alpha output. Then key the green in a node, attach the alpha output of the node to the alpha output in the node tree, and voila. You just need to have the plate on layer 1 and your keyed footage on layer 2. Nicolas Hanson May 4, 2018 Share May 4, 2018 Now with the Fusion integration you can drag the Delta keyer (or Chroma keyer) down on the line, do a simple key and it will update automatically in the color tab. It's fast and you don't need any Fusion knowledge to do that.
