Emily Haine June 28, 2018 Share June 28, 2018 I have tried to hue shift pink to red by using the hue vs. hue and it swings by many colors but not red. Do you know of any curve based ways to swing pink to red as I'm trying to avoid keying?
Jussi Rovanperä June 28, 2018 Share June 28, 2018 pink is red, when it comes to hue only You're better off keying, because to get a good red, you need to drop the density, and the hue vs lum is not so good for doing that.
Dylan R. Hopkin June 30, 2018 Share June 30, 2018 And if the pinks are varied in both luma / sat / hue. Key as proposed, then try the Color Compressor plugin to shift to the colorrange you want. (referring to Resolve now). The color compressor is just a different option if the hue vs hue doesn’t work out for you.
Bruno Mansi July 1, 2018 Share July 1, 2018 If it's only a few shots that need this treatment, then maybe 3D LUT Creator might be a good tool to get you most of the way there, with the final tweaks being done using the usual Resolve tools.
Anton Meleshkevich July 1, 2018 Share July 1, 2018 I think, you should try to change brightness and saturation, but not hue.
