Thomas Singh August 27, 2020 Share August 27, 2020 Now with the latest DaVinci Resolve update, the editing module seems significant faster so I will try out editing in Resolve on my next project. I'm coming from Avid and have managed to find most of the shortcuts that I need, but I'm looking for the command to lift the clips on the timeline up to the composer/program monitor (the player window on the left side). In Avid, I would use command z to delete a clip and at the same time add it to the composer window. I would use command x to ripple delete the clips and at the same time add it to the composer window. What is the shortcut for doing this in Resolve? The Avid way of working is to run all the existing clips that needs to be moved or replaced through the composer window and this function is important for me to feel confident.
