Is it possible to buy the collection of Koji LUTs as cubes or a format read by Resolve? I can only find the plugin on their site. 

With all the respect, choosing between RED, Alexa, Sony IS a personal matter. I would not go for Sony either because I personally don't like the images coming from the camera.

16 bit holds more information than 10 bit and most grading suites are optimized for eating r3d files. XAVC is a stranger for many, but it will probably not be an issue at all. 

Working with post house where nobody can speak the DOPs language sounds like a joke, but I guess you have your reason - or no choice. 

Have you tested the Frameio and DaVinci Resolve integration? Does it come with a basic subscription plan?

That sounds like a bug, it works here but I will investigate a little here on my end.

I work with the LUT that is provided by the DOP (the camera LUT), and apply it at node level so that I can grade before and after it.

Do you know how I can copy layers from one composition to another in After Effects without it pasting it on the exact same timecode? I need the layers to fit into a short composition but when I paste it, its automatically pasted outside of the timeline.

The timeline color space in Davinci Resolve is set to Rec. 709, gamma 2.4 by default. I have graded for years without paying any attention to this... Should I?

Hi Lewis. You should have a professional calibrator to calibrate your projector. Then you should probably color correct your image by looking at the output of your protector.

I have subtitles on the second timeline track in DaVinci Resolve, but it doesn't burn-in when I render a MP4 h.264. Any idea why?

Ok, so that's what Resolve calls "smooth cut"? 

Premiere got a Morph Cut feature, anything similar in DaVinci Resolve? In the edit, The morph cut effect is used to morph between two close-ups to hide a jump-cut, and I need to recreate the effect.

Input = Log

1. Node 2 = Draw an S-curve
2. Node 1 = Adjust lift, gamma gain

What Emily is telling you is that the adjustments made on node 1 will be altered by the shape of the curve on node 2, and this way you will get to more interesting results than the single tools alone.
