Yes.
I have it (Raid 5 (16x4Tb)^ speed is very good (up 2000 GB/s) BUT on this raid have more MediaData. and I think that using this Raid for Cache maybe destroy it early end lifetime.
and I think that using special SSD set is good idea.

Hi Guys and Girls.
Who are using Cache-drive when Colorgrdading? What do you think about Fusion IO Drive2 / LSI Hydro Wrarp / Huawei ES3000 (3500) / or others. Maybe you used RaidCard + many SSD?

What is the main difference between those two organizations and why don't you guys support CSI instead of starting a new one?
Hi Thomas.
Differences are many ... But the goal is one. I support the CSI. And I really like the guys who founded this organization. This is not competition, it is an additional choice for everyone.

Hi Tom.
I know several people who are a member of the CSI. Someone says that it's not bad. Someone says that it's all worthless and just a waste of money (even if not many)
We with colorists from Russia, Kazakhstan, England, the USA, now we organize ICG (Independent Colourists Guild). We are not many, but the potential should be very large. Membership is closed and free of charge (you only need to confirm your qualification)Currently we are going through the registration process.
If interested, we will be happy to see you and other colourists in our Guild.I'm all time open in telegram chat. (+79163912727)
Regards,
Alex.

Xeon vs i7
in Mac/PC
Very good choice, Margus.
I have now 60Tb raid, and in the next few days I plan to upgrade hardware.
Supermicro X10DRG-Q + 64Gb Memory + 2x Xeon e5-2630 v4Now have 2 cards gtx1080.
Virtually no alternative option for little money.
Alex.
