Can I load the original clip and apply a log to linear display LUT, work on that and remove it before I render? Do I need to set up the project in a specific color space? Bruno Mansi October 6, 2017 Share October 6, 2017 Hi Tom, I'm guessing that's what you need. It should be an installer that puts the OpenCOlorIO AEX plugin into the appropriate folder. I was asked to help test it out a while ago for someone who was going to use it in their ACES workflow. In the end, they decided not to go ACES, so I never got around to trying it out. Bruno Mansi October 6, 2017 Share October 6, 2017 Although there's no display LUT option in AE there is a 'Simulate Output' setting, which is tied in to the whole colour management workflow that Adobe recommend when working in AE. Abby Bader October 10, 2017 Share October 10, 2017 Simply go to effects/utility/cineon_converter and set the parameter to Log to Linear, and turn it off before rendering. Remember, you don't have to complicate things, a full transform is not necessary and it would work just as good to draw a curve or use levels to add contrast to your images. The important thing is that you deliver the same (log) image to the next dep. in chain. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites
