Diego Ortiz Manacá March 29, 2019 Share March 29, 2019 Hello, i'm upgrading my suite and been looking to Run R3D 4k raw footage smoothly, currently with my HDD on Raid 0 i run it at Quarter res Good and would like to go to Full res, I was looking into buying an SSD raid or maybe a M.2 one, but would have to upgrade my motherboard to a Thunderbolt 3 one, im sorry if this was talked before or ir easily found, but my lack of english prevents me from finding the correct words to search for it. dermot.shane March 30, 2019 Share March 30, 2019 if you can run 1/4rez then the disks subsystem is fast enough for any debayer setting debayer will soon be on GPU, i would wait a week or more, and see if the expected gains are real, if so.. a GPU upgrade may be the better choice 1 Link to comment Share on other sites
