Nicolas Hanson March 23, 2019 Share March 23, 2019 Have any of you worked with Cinema4D for motion graphics? I have been working with After Effects for a decade but want to look into 3D stuff and I know many use those two in combination.
Don Reilly March 25, 2019 Share March 25, 2019 Great set of tools. C4D mograph is insanely powerful. It's a natural next step if you want to take your comps to the next level.
Abby Bader April 1, 2019 Share April 1, 2019 C4D is known to be easy to learn compared to Maya, 3D Studio Max and definitely Houdini. As in color grading it's more about the artist than the tool, but my impression is that it's used quite heavily in the motion graphics part of the industry and as you say - in conjunction with After Effects. Rakesh Malik April 29, 2019 Share April 29, 2019 Cinema4D is HUGE in mograph -- partly due to being far easier to use than most of its competition, but also just because Maxon's been very good with things like support and stability. The Mograph module is excellent -- useful for more than mograph. A lot more. It's also pretty big in matte painting. Houdini is a LOT easier to learn than its reputation would imply though, because SideFX has been working on making it more user friendly over the last few years as well as improving its underlying technology. For ease of use Cinema4D still rules the roost though.
