  1. Hi, for a new project we will shot with a red camera. We will develop files in davinci resolve exports prores 444 (not exr or dpx ) and make vfx in after effects. What I am not sure is how to handle the ipp2 color workflow in after effect. I am planning to export ipp2 wide gamut from resolve and use color io to manage the files in after effect. After vfx we would not go back to resolve as we need to export files with transparency. Also we want avoid r3d in after effects as it is less optimized. Is some one has an advice or a pipeline to share to maintain the right color pipeline in AE. Best Badi
  2. I'm working with the latest Avid (8.6.x) and I've noticed that AMA is replaced with a source browser. Maybe that happened a long time ago, but I usually get handed transcoded MXF files made in DaVinci. Anyway, how do I import/transcode r3D files? When trying to "link" it says "cannot be linked" so I'm a bit lost.
  3. Hey! I'm looking for a player that can read R3D files with the burned in timecode without any lag. Any suggestions? RedCine is not an alternative because on my system it's too slow and can't playback in realtime.
