  1. hi, I'm working with Bmpcc4k Braw footage and my questions is. What is the settings for colour management and what are the settings for colour space transform. I want to be working in Davinci Wide Gamut. My colour management my settings are, Colour science, Davinci YRBG Timeline colour space, Davinci WG/ Intermediate Output colour space, Rec 709 Gamma 2.4 For my colour transform my settings are as followed, Input colour space, Davinci Wide gamut Input Gamma, Black magic Film Gen 4 Output colour space, Rec.709 Output gamma, Gamma 2.4 How does this all sounds? is there a better option. I want a nice starting point, I'm not after some crazy flat image with no contrast etc. Thank you for your help and your time, much appreciated. Drew
  2. Hi, There is a couple of easy fixes for this problem. First off, the reason why it is happening is there's too many nodes and or there is too many heavy VFX on there. Such as noise reduction or film grain etc. First thing you want to do is update your video card to the newest drives. Then in Resolve, go up to preferences , memory and GPU. It depends on your video card but under GPU processing mode, for Nvidia cards, choose CUDA. If you're using an AMD card, choose Open CL. You can also choose to have most of your system memory for Resolve and take the system memory for Fusion. This option is just above the said before options. Save and then restart. Should fix all your problems. If not, Your computer might not be able to handle your current timeline. Have a great day and I hope this helps Drew https://www.greengoatproductions.com/home/
  3. Hi, My recommendation would be making sure all your video cards are up to date, this has fixed the problem for me in the past. Another thing is, sometimes in beta form, Davinci will have these types of bugs until it's out of beta. Hope this helps https://www.greengoatproductions.com/ Drew Hair
  4. Hey fellow colourist, I've made a youtube video explaining the benefits of using colour trace as to oppose of other methods of copying a grade timeline to another timeline. Let me know if you have any suggestions or comments for my video, I'm very knew at youtube, but welcome any feedback. Thanks in advance. Drew
  5. Hey, I've had this problem a couple of times, when I import an XML in Davinci from Premiere a couple of clips come up as a still from the clip. Since I don't know the work around, I would go back to Premiere and export a high res clip from the timeline and grade that. Has anyone experienced this problem before and has the solution? Thanks for your time, Drew
