David Frank Knight January 30, 2021 Share January 30, 2021 Hi everyone I have a LG CX 48" arriving next week, and I will be undertaking a HDR calibration via CALMAN LG Home. To achieve this I'm aiming to rent a HDR Colorimeter, such as the SpectraCal C6 or an equivalent that is spec'd for High Dynamic Range. Bruno Mansi February 1, 2021 Share February 1, 2021 Don't know about renting a probe, but there's been discussions in the past that although you can reasonably calibrate the LG OLEDs for SDR, they're not suitable for serious HDR work. If I remember correctly, they're WOLED displays and start to badly desaturate at higher nit values. I'm sure there are other, more knowledgeable people who will comment further on this.
