Baselight for Avid

Recommended Posts

Colour.Training is launching a new training class 'Baselight for Avid' aimed at all colorists and finishers who want to learn how to use Baselight or who face in their jobs the following dilemma.

There is a vast amount of color grading jobs out there that are cut on Avid, and due to their nature and turnaround times, it becomes complicated and almost impossible to round trip to a full blow color grading system.

This is especially the case with reality TV series or docu TV series that need a proper finish, where more frequently Avid Symphony tools can not offer all required functionality.

The answer is Baselight for Avid. This incredible plugin features a full-blown Baselight color grading system functionality in the form of a plugin. At the same time, it is a great way to get started with Baselight for any colorist considering learning this great grading system.

In this webinar, we are going to introduce you to our instructor Mike Nuget. A leading New York colorist and former Technicolor employee with a wast knowledge and experience of this plugin and Avid workflow. You have probably seen him on NAB and IBC demoing for both Baselight and Avid, and his training and demo videos serve today as a reference for this great application. We are thrilled to have been able to take Mike away from his busy schedule and bring him into our classroom and deliver the best training for Baselight for Avid possible.

Mike will take us through the contents of this 2-day masterclass, and you will be able to get a familiar first hand with the workflow mentioned above and ask him all relevant questions.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Friday 13th
11:00 Los Angeles | 14:00 New York | 19:00 London | 20:00 Berlin
