2.4 was determined the be the broadcast standard by the BBC some time ago. It used to be 2.35. 2.2 is for the web - bright environments.

As Margus has mentioned, the i7 6950x (overclocked) is going to be faster in Resolve than Xeons. I looked at the HP solution and it just was not compelling to me as a grading machine and expensive and actually perhaps slower for some data crunching maneuvers. I went with an ADK Video build (excellent reputation and service with a nice warranty and lifetime tech support). I think that Margus and I have a very similar build.

It's not as power hungry as some OFX, but it will tax your system depending on your system. I would be more inclined to use PixelTools https://pixeltoolspost.com/ for a filmic look and then put the FC grain on the timeline. PixelTools uses powergrades and is, therefore, less taxing.
