    In "Blending LUTs" he writes, "All these creative LUTs let me stay in the same color space and are not doing any tone mapping to the image. "

    I wonder,  is "tone mapping" equivalent to "changing the LUM" here?

    Or, what operations should be considered "tone mapping" exactly?
