Hi, I’m having some issues with my FCPXML workflow from Final Cut Pro to DaVinci Resolve 21.

  1. Resolve links to optimized ProRes MOV files instead of my original Sony FX3/a7III MP4 files.

  2. After importing XML, the timeline clip names are different from the original FCP names.

  3. Multicam and synchronized clips are also causing issues with the XML transfer.

I want to color grade in Resolve and bring everything back to FCP without losing sync or the correct edit structure.

Has anyone found a reliable workflow to fix these issues?
