  1. Hi Nicolas, Thanks for your input. Well, this really is about setting up a multicam project. I have no issues with 4K or 6K material I've edited with my system. The issue I'm talking about is performance, absolutely. That performance is hindered by my (not the fastest) system and setup. To make things run smoother, I'd need to have DaVinci help me out. I agree with using Proxy, for sure. As I was on a really tight schedule, I had no time to start rendering the material. I had three Linecuts + 7 cameras each, overall two hours in length. I know that with a sufficient budget I could do all sorts of things. To recap, I am curious about Kevin's setup for his "12 camera concert" he talked about in his tutorials. Realizing that Kevin is probably running a Lambourghini, where as I gallop with a Pinto. How Kevin sets up and drives that Lambo, that's what I'm curious about. Cheers jb
  2. Hi Kevin, I just did a multicam project that involved Linecut + 7 angles, so 8 sources all together. It was shot in 422 HQ ProRes. I would really appreciate a tip as how to set things up and/or utilize proxy and/or optimized media to have the timeline play out smooth. I was under pressure with the schedule (naturally) and was struggling to get everything ready for my client. The most frustrating part was trying to play out the multicam timeline, as you can imagine. I run a descently fast iMac with a LaCie 16TB Raid 0 with two 8TB disks. A workflow follow-up would be a great addition to your excellent MultiCam course. Thanks in advance. Jussi Buckbee, Finland
