.. I found colorist Steven Bodner's approach to a "reversed Dolby Vision" process really unique and DP Darren Lew's approach to the use of a wide color gamut very notable.

Cool find! I've noticed that many post-houses are now using LiveGrain over the many alternatives... Incidentally, I've been told that it's absurdly priced. Does anyone know exactly how much it goes for?

Hi James. The tools are distributed under the same type of model as Dolby distributes "Dolby Digital"; they sell licenses directly to the studios and networks. It's only available to certified post production facilites, and consists of both a software and a hardware part.
