Walter Voplato - The Green Book, Dunkirk, Star Wars - The Last Jedi & Chris Clark - Color Scientist Netflix

We are pleased to announce that for LA Colorist Meetup we are going to be honored to welcome two specials guests:
Chris Clark a Netflix chief color scientist, a person who is the most responsible for industry-wide adoption of HDR and color managed workflow. And the fastest rising star of the color hall of fame - a multi-talented Walter Volpatto, who after having graded Star Wars has delivered an incredible art-house look for ‘The Green Book’ an Oscar winner for the best movie in 2019.

Chris Clark - a former Sony Pictures and Deluxe Color Scientist was at the helm of Netflix transformation to HDR and color management that has enabled 120 million people around the world to enjoy probably the best-looking TV images ever. It is no doubt that Netflix has pushed the bar high when it comes to image quality but what are they planning for the future…

Walter Volpatto - the man behind the color of ‘The Last Jedi’ and ‘Dunkirk’ needs no introduction. This will be a great opportunity to get to know Walter up close and personal. Walter’s guest appearance and talk on his work on movie ‘Green Book’ is promising to be the most remembered guest appearance at the Colorist Meetup.
